for security, abuse prevention, moderation, technical logs or legal obligations.

To help identify the account, include the email address or username associated with your Murmely account.
Do not send your password.
Data deleted or anonymized
When an account deletion request is processed, Murmely deletes or anonymizes personal data where technically
and legally possible, including:
- account identifiers such as username and email address;
- profile data such as age, biography, social energy, expectations and personality tags;
- active authentication data, including refresh tokens and password reset tokens;
- contact request data where it is no longer required for processing or documentation;
- personal data attached to discussion features where deletion does not conflict with moderation, security or legal requirements.
Data that may be retained temporarily
Some data may be retained for a limited period after a deletion request when it is necessary for legitimate
operational, security, moderation or legal reasons.
-
Technical logs: retained for a maximum of 30 days, unless a longer period is required
for security investigation, abuse prevention or legal obligations.
-
Reports and moderation records: may be retained where needed to investigate abuse,
document moderation decisions or protect other users.
-
Conversation context: may be retained or anonymized where needed to preserve moderation
evidence, handle reports or comply with legal requirements.
Processing time
Deletion requests are reviewed and processed within a reasonable period after receipt.
If additional verification is needed to confirm account ownership, Murmely may request limited information
before processing the request.
Partial deletion requests
Users may also request deletion or correction of specific personal data without deleting the entire account.
This can be requested through the same in-app contact flow or by email.
